"I clown, therefore I am (a clown)!"
- Mike "Buster" Bednarek
Performances
Mike “Buster” Bednarek tours throughout the Pacific Northwest with his zany mix of physical comedy, balance, and illusions called Buster’s Red Nose Revue. The performance options listed below are examples of the high-quality, professional family and young audience entertainment that can be provided for your special event. Each can be tailored to your needs, budget, and venue (and comes with a money-back guarantee!).
Contact Buster TODAY and let him take aim at your funny bone! Inquire for this season's rates.
Option 1: The Big Shoe (or 'Show' if too young to remember Ed Sullivan)
Main stage mayhem! Choose your own venue, as big and open-aired as a festival, holiday show, company party, or your special event. (30-45 minutes)
Option 2: Summer Reading Program: "One, Two, Three . . . Ta Da!" (detailed information here)
A misguided journey to the final "Ta Da!' through the eyes and heart of the clown. Young and old alike go along for the riotous ride as the clown -- the red nosed everyman -- and his Big Book struggles to overcome his own obstacles and emerges triumphant, with help from the audience. A lively, engaging, interactive performance of physical comedy, balancing, and illusions, with lots of audience involvement. Suitable for school and library programs; appropriate for ages 4 to 104. (45 minutes)
Learning labs (see Option 5: Clown School below) or Q&A sessions make great supplements to a performance.
Price break for multiple shows or bookings in same location or area.
Option 3: The Birthday Party
Who ya gonna call (for that next birthday party)? Just Buster!
Make it a surprise appearance with an unexpected knock on the door, or tell everyone ahead of time Buster's coming so they're there on time! But when he lands in your living room, buckle your seatbelts for a side-splitting performance of goofy magic and physical comedy. Clear a space and set the table for a wild ride with Buster at your next child, adult, or “big kid” birthday party. (30-45 minutes)
Disclaimer: No balloons are ever tied up, twisted, or unwillingly turned into animals, nor are any children's faces painted with anything other than grins and laughter, during a performance by Buster. (In other words, Buster doesn't do balloon sculpture or facepainting. He just CLOWNS!)
Option 4: The Busker
Walkaround, meet-and-greet entertainment by an experienced family entertainer. Adds color and excitement of one-on-one, improvisational clowning to any event. Can be used to distribute giveaways or balloons provided by your group or company. Great for grand openings and special events!

Option 5: Clown School (more information on individual workshops here)
An experienced trainer of clown and theater skills for youthful and adult students, Buster (Mike Bednarek) has taught the art of clowning at schools, community colleges, universities, festivals, and clown camps over 30 years. Workshops teach specific skills or provide an in-depth overview to clowning. An excellent complement to a performance. (As little as 45 minutes, as much as 3 full days) |
